Accommodation

Inside: The Home has provision for 30 residents who all enjoy the privacy of their own bed/sitting room. Both men and women are accommodated. The rooms are tastefully decorated to a high standard and centrally heated. Whilst the rooms are fully furnished, residents are free to add their own personal items if they wish. A public telephone is provided but it is also possible for residents to have a private telephone installed in their own room.

Within the Home there are several communal areas including two lounges and a dining room. These can be enjoyed at any time by the residents and their guests. As the accommodation is on two floors, a lift is available to enable residents to access all parts of the Home, including the Chapel.

Outside: Residents are able to enjoy the seasonal beauty of the gardens as all rooms overlook them. These can be enjoyed by a stroll along a series of flat, even pathways.

Meals: A choice of menu is available at all times. The main meal, which is usually served at mid-day, is prepared based upon a healthy eating plan and using fresh produce as much as possible. Breakfast, high tea, morning and afternoon tea and biscuits, plus evening drinks (including a night-cap if desired) are also provided. The cook is also happy to prepare any special diet requirements or requests for favourite food.
